There are many restaurants in UAE which offer an amazing sight. Some overlooking the man made island of Palm Jumeirah, others will stun you by the numerous yachts lined up in Dubai Marina, or dramatic horizon of Corniche in the Capital and of course Burj Khalifa.
There’s nothing like enjoying a delicious meal with a magnificent scene. Yes, we found an impeccable spot for you! Have an extra ordinary weekend and savor the traditional Turkish breakfast just right in front of Dubai Fountain and world’s tallest building.
Gunaydin – being the pioneer Steakhouse and providing authentic Turkish cuisine is now located in the heart of Downtown, sits on the waterfront promenade Souk Al Bahar. It is known for their astounding meat selections, expertise in butchery, and top-quality flavors. And now, in addition to their extended menu they are ready to give you the finest and unique breakfast.
Breakfast at Gunaydin applies tradition and cultural practices. A hot and freshly brewed tea was given straightaway. All dishes were scattered into a dozen of colorful bowls and saucers. Tables were well-dressed and food was plated delicately.
An assortment of cheese – Beyaz peynir, Kasar, Dil peyniri alike to white, cheddar, and mozzarella cheese. You’ll find feta and Tulum – crumbles of goat’s milk too.
Choose your spread – strawberry, nutella, and most liked is Kaymak – clotted cream with honey comb (it’s addictive!). Organic chunks of tomatoes and cucumber drenched in olive oil & black and green olives.
Pastirma – thinly sliced cured beef
Unlimited Cay – black tea
Menemen a combination of chopped tomatoes, onions, green peppers, and scrambled eggs or have your two sunny side up eggs with Sucuklu Yumurta – spicy sausage over tiny copper skillet
Fresh from the oven Borek, basket of Pide, Acma, and Simit are similar to flat, sesame crusted bagel and pretzel like bread.
And when I said they practice tradition and culture they are quite serious about it. They will not serve you coffee even when you asked. Turkish breakfast is called Kahvalti literally means “before coffee”. You must have all of these and drink tea. Trust me! I’ve asked for cappuccino three times but I had it after meal!
Gunaydin displays a modern contemporary interior with rustic detail to its design and furniture. You could not keep your eyes of the walls, hanging lamps, and outdoor terrace. Breezy and cozy vibe will make you feel at ease. Every rays of sunlight pass through the oversize glass door window making the whole place vibrant.
