We’ve been a fan of Gordon Ramsay since we’ve seen him on TV shows. We’ve always admire his passion, dedication and excellence in culinary world. He’s not ashamed of his humble beginning. That’s why we tend to appreciate all of his accomplishments. We’ve been dying to try his restaurant in Atlantis The Palm so we planned to celebrate our anniversary and booked a table in Bread Street Kitchen (BSK).
Upon entering BSK, two charming ladies welcomed then escorted us to our table. The place has a soft lighting which gives sophistication to its design and furniture. It has a fancy and soothing ambiance perfect for romantic occasions or family gathering. You could even hear the lovely music echoing the entire place and making everyone’s cozy and relaxed. Staff remained polite and friendly even it was a busy Friday night. They have assisted us with warm smiles and kind gestures.
A complimentary bread basket with soft served butter and our choice of drink, a glass of chilled Rosé was given to us as soon as we sat down. We went straight to main course since we were very excited to try Gordon Ramsay’s famous signature dish the “Beef Wellington” and paired it to Tagliolini lobster pasta.
Oh God! Beef Wellington is an astounding dish ideal for an elegant and intimate dinner. The beef was cooked to perfection and it literally melts in your mouth. The meat was very succulent every bite makes you insanely happy. It compliments well with the sides especially the truffle mashed potato and spiced carrots. Tagliolini lobster pasta is a light dish. The freshness and generous amount of lobster with parsley, chili and spring onion makes it sumptuous and savory.
We were given a complimentary dessert for our anniversary celebration. A warm, moist, and delicious chocolate cake. How sweet! In addition, we tried their Baked Alaska. It is a chocolate ice cream covered with meringue and baked. We were really amused and satisfied with this. Everything was extremely good!
Since we have dined in Bread Street Kitchen, we kept telling our dining experience to our family, friends, and colleagues. I have convinced my friend Erica Deza-Matela to try and she went there to celebrate her 30th birthday with her husband Matt Matela. And it was a success recommendation because they had a pleasant and amazing time in BSK. In fact, she even told me “I had the most memorable 30th birthday in Bread Street Kitchen.” They even had the chance to tour the kitchen and meet the chefs. How cool is that?
We are very delighted we had the chance to dine in here and witness the greatness of Gordon Ramsay. He really set the standards and raised the bar beyond expectations. Selections from the bar and menu will fit everyone and range of prices are worth every penny. We will definitely come back in BSK and celebrate food and life. Indeed, this was the most remarkable dining experience!
