Do you know where to find Ramen in Dubai? Not just simply Ramen but a good and tasty one! You are about to find out here. It’s a must try!

We’re always on a quest to find the perfect Japanese restaurant. When I personally watched The City Vibe’s video about ITADAKI, I was quite reluctant to try. The video was presenting mostly signature sushi rolls but it was inviting. We got to be honest with you, even our dear friend Lauren Maravilla was surprised and overwhelmed. Definitely ITADAKI is not the talk of the town but it is unexpectedly worthy and low-priced.

First of all, we ordered my partner’s all-time favorite shrimp “Gyoza” together with “Enoki rolls” for starter. Enoki came from its origin Enokitake a kind of mushroom used in Asian cuisine.  Enoki is rolled over slice of beef and pan-fried to perfection with teriyaki sauce. Of course, who would forget to have Ramen in Japanese restaurant? It was on top of our list. For our main course we tried their savory and tender “Tokyo Ramen” and “Shio butter Ramen”. A hot and steaming bowls of Shoyu-beef based broth, noodles, beef slices, nori, vegeatbles, and egg. It was so satisfying! Tokyo Ramen is much lighter than Shio butter Ramen which has a rich and distinct flavor. The serving sizes and portions of ITADAKI is quite generous, two persons could share for a single order.

Gyoza – AED28
Enoki – AED35

Ramen is best paired with Sushi rolls. We tried one of their signature rolls called “Karama”  it is a combination of kani, tempura, and salmon with unagi on top drizzled with creamy cheese and mayo. One single order has 8 amazing rolls. Wow! We tried one of bestselling Bento box – Salmon in three ways. Box filled with Salmon teriyaki, sashimi, and nigiri. The best way to end our ITADAKI experience – DESSERTS! We had 3 different flavors of homemade Mochi icecream – choco, matcha green tea, & strawberry cheesecake. It was really good! We also had homemade Matcha cheesecake. We did not stop eating from the moment everything was served. We finished every single plates!

Karama Roll – AED43
Salmon Bento – AED48

Jimboy our server and the rest of the staff especially the cool chefs of ITADAKI was very welcoming, accommodating, and polite. In fact, the chefs gave us a complimentary platter of “Kaarage” chicken, shrimp, crab, and some vegetables. Thank you guys! The place is small with narrow hall. We liked the simplicity of the restaurant. We still felt the Japanese vibe with the interior design and furniture. We would definitely come back and taste more from the menu. We highly recommend it to everyone. You can really taste the authenticity and not burn a hole in your pocket. Undeniably, it was another great and delightful dinner.
